Get the clock running.
LiveSplit keeps the clock on your recording while you play in the browser. No numpad needed.
Download LiveSplit and the MOG preset.
Download LiveSplit from its official site, extract the ZIP, and open LiveSplit.exe. Extract our preset ZIP into a folder you can find again.
The preset contains a clean split file and layout. It has no saved runs or personal best.
Load the preset and set your keys.
Right-click the LiveSplit window. Choose Open Splits → From File and select MOG Boss Clear.lss. Then choose Open Layout → From File and select MOG Timer.lsl.
Open Settings. Click the Start / Split box and press F8. Set Reset to F9, and enable Global Hotkeys. Leave Pause unassigned. Select Real Time as the timing method.
If your keyboard uses F-keys for volume or brightness, enable Fn Lock or hold Fn. You can choose other unused keys in Settings.
Put the game and clock in OBS.
Open the game in its own browser window. In OBS, add a Window Capture source for the game, then another for LiveSplit. Place the clock where it does not cover the game’s health, floor or boss.
Record a short test with the game window focused. Press F8, let the clock run, press F8 again, then F9. Play back the test to check that both the game and clock were captured.
F8 finishes because the preset has one split: Boss defeated. If capture is black, try another Window Capture method and test again.
Record one continuous attempt.
Start OBS recording before entering the run and show the 5× game-speed setting. Press F8 on the first frame you can control your character. Keep the clock running through every menu, loading screen and interruption.
Press F8 again at the first visible confirmation that the final boss is defeated—before opening the reward chest or spinning the wheel. Keep recording for a few seconds, then stop OBS. Save your time before using F9 for the next attempt.
If you die, that attempt is not a clear. Reset before the next attempt. Upload the uncut video and submit its link; reviewers check the actual start and finish and can correct manual keypress delay.
The current preset uses manual hotkeys. Automatic timing has not been validated for MOG yet; don’t wait for the clock to start itself.
